The old worn back strip has been replaced with new black cloth like the original book with applied title from the original back strip. New endpapers and new inner binding by pro book binder. A very early copy with all of the first issue points such as perfect type for letter M on page 1, page 242 with he and his, capital T for trees and 13th on page 330 and full page ad on the last page. (see pictures 5,6,7,8) In VG+ condition with ALL leaves and pages. Tightly bound with excellent hinges. NO owner or library marks or labels. A very early copy of first edition and very scarce.
