Description: 1930s / 1940s STERLING SILVER Art Deco Rhinestone Baguette Panel Bracelet 6 3/4"Hallmarked Sterling on the clasp and on the rear of the panel adjacent to the clasp.Clasp and panels confirmed (acid test) sterling silver.Baguette rhinestones are on every panel and all the connecting links, as well as the top of the hidden fold over clasp. Due to the age of the bracelet, some of the rhinestones exhibit discoloration (slightly yellow-ish). See photographs. This does not detract from the beauty, wear-ability or the sparkle of the bracelet.The sterling long rectangular panels are slightly curved, so the bracelet lays comfortably on the wrist.The spring ring closure and mechanism on the safety chain works although it is tiny and can be fiddly to grasp correctly. [Your jeweler can easily switch it out for a larger spring ring clasp and chain, if you like.]Bracelet is approximately 6 3/4" in length. As I do not offer returns, please be sure that the bracelet will fit you prior to making your purchase!Bracelet has a fold over invisible clasp (hidden fold-over clasp). The top of the clasp is adorned with rhinestone baguettes (blend with the rest of the bracelet). One of the baguettes on the clasp is missing.Several adjacent rhinestones have small chips. No other baguettes are missing. Baguette rhinestones on the long panels are set in what I can only describe as a scalloped bezel / channel setting. Shorter connecting panel baguettes are set in a short claw-like bezel / channel setting. (see the photographs and it will make sense). An ornate design is found along the long edge of each panel.Provenance: I received this bracelet from a good friend (relative of the original owner) who inherited the bracelet many years ago and never wore it. I've enjoyed wearing this bracelet but it is now time to find it a new home.
