With drum brakes, a ten pound valve is used to compensate for return spring tension in the drums. Residual Pressure Valves are made from billet aluminum and color coded for easy identification.The Power Brake Booster included in this package is considered to be "UNIVERSAL" and is not intended to be a direct factory replacement for cars that already had power brakes, since modifications would be necessary. It also will not work with an original Ford Master Cylinder that typically will have a 80 MM bolt hole spacing. This is designed to work with a master cylinder that has 3-3/8" center to center spacing. Note: It may also be necessary to cut the end of the booster rod to work with the bracket...this is normal. Also, does not fit Ford Fairlane.
