Description: Offered for sale are these Vintage & Very Rare 1963-64 Canadian issued Barbie & Skipper "Ballerina Ballet" Cases set of 3 in Fantastic Condition & issued 60 years ago in Canada by Mattel Canada Ltd. Exceptional condition with very small tear to top lid hinges hardly noticeable but will display very nicely. Offered in this set are the 1963 Barbie Ballerina Case , 1964 Skipper Ballet Case & the 1964 Barbie Ballerina Case & all 3 were issued only in Canada for the much smaller Canadian Market back in the early 1960's in much smaller #'s compared to the Doll Cases issued in the USA of that time thus these Canadian issued doll cases from the 1960's are Harder to Find & are very sought after by Vintage Barbie Doll & Doll Case collectors... especially the Canadian issued as they often have graphics & designs specific to Canada only & were issued in much smaller numbers than the USA Barbie cases of that time. Designed with 2 compartments...Top for your outfit & the bottom for your slippers.. Cases measures 10 1/4"x10 1/4"x3 1/2" & are stamped 1963 & 1964 Mattel Inc.. Listed on page 368 & 369 & 377 of the Encyclopedia of Barbie Doll products as Rare & a guide value of $250-$350+ each as shown in my last 2 pics.
