Description: Good used manual for 1965 Volkswagen 1500 (also covers some of the 1600). The title on the flyleaf says "Workshop Manual Volkswagen 1500/65, 4th Supplement (Volume I). Topics include engine/clutch, fuel system, front axle, steering, rear axle, transmission, brakes, wheels, tires, lubrication, maintenance, and technical data. It has excellent graphics and some pages have color. There are special instructions in some of the sections, as well as lists of tools that you would need. None of the pages are torn or have folded corners. There are some fingerprints a number of the pages, but we couldn't see any handwriting, other than a note on the flyleaf - possibly the first owner of this manual? It says "10 April 1966 J L Reiber." Given that the date is written as '10 April' rather than 'April 10', the note was probably written by someone who is European. The first pages have a clear stain that is the most dramatic on the flyleaf and tapers down to nothing before the first section is ended. The original binder has no rips, tears or deep scratches. On the front of the binder cover on the right edge, there are three small folds. The dividing tabs are fully intact with no rips or tears.
