Sprocket, 39t Rear Sprocket For QUICKER gear ratio (off the line, roll on's, wheelies), use a 14 tooth front sprocket and a stock size rear sprocket. This quick ratio will be much quicker, but slower top speed with higher freeway cruising rpm's. The STD. CHAIN LENGTH works with the stock 15t and the 14t if you ever want to switch back to stock.For FASTER TOP SPEED, and LOWER FREEWAY RPM's, use a -2t or -3t rear sprocket for lowered highway cruising rpm's and higher top speed.A moderate change (-2t rear) is a variation that will make your bike only slightly slower off the line. The (-3t rear) is a more noticeable change that will make it slower off the line, but even lower highway rpm's.* A 1 tooth change in the front is equivalent to a 3 tooth change in the rear.. but opposite effects.* A 1 tooth change in the rear is a very slight change.EXAMPLE: (-1 tooth front = +3 teeth rear) or (+1 tooth front = -3 teeth rear)EXAMPLE: (-1 tooth front and +1 tooth rear combined is the same as +4 rear only without changing the front)STOCK GEARING is the factory calculated "happy medium" of both low end acceleration and top end speed.
