Halloween: This lace skirt was part of an Edwardian two-piece gown. The label inside is Mme R I Heiler. It has a waist of 23 inches and a front length of 40 inches. It has a slip of black silk built in which has deteriorated with lots of tiny holes. The lace has quite a bit of damage as well. I have put a piece of pink tissue under the lace so that you could see how beautiful it is. There are holes throughout the lace. What an amazing piece of fashion history. The ribbon work on the skirt is beautiful. This could be used for inspiration, to re- purpose or would be perfect for a Halloween display or just to dress a mannequin.
