Description: Up for sale is this very rare antique 1791 copy of, "Views Taken on and near The River Rhine, at Aix La Chapelle, And on the River Maese." The book is overall in very good condition with just some minor signs of wear and age. It is illustrated with 32 lovely aqua tinta engraved plates. There is no printed publishing date on the title page, but most of the engravings are dated 1791. The book has been recently and nicely rebound with new endpapers. The covers only have the lightest bit of wear. The binding of the book is good and strong. The interior is lightly toned from age with some scattered light foxing and mild dampstaining. Along with that there may be the very occasional page with some kind of other imperfection such as a creased page corner, tiny chip or tear, light spot of soiling or grubbiness, etc. Generally though, it's a nice copy. The book measures approximately 8 1/8 inches by 6 5/8 inches and is 156 pages long. The text is collated and complete. Please look at all of the photos to further note the condition.
