Description: This antique sessions cathedral, gang mantle clock received as a wedding gift in 1904 is amazing! Works well. Measures 14.5 inches long and 11.5 inches high. Nice black finish with gold colored trim and faux marble pillars makes for a beautiful clock. It dings on the half an hour and gongs on the hour the number of guns is determined by the hour at 8 PM that would be 8 gongs. The two videos show the ding on the half hour and the Gongs on the hour. I chose 12 o’clock for the 12 gongs CORRECTION EBAY ONLY LET ME UPLOAD ONE VIDEO SO I CHOSE THE 12 OCLOCK GONG THERE IS A DING AT THE HALF HOUR This antique Sessions mantle clock is a stunning piece of history. Crafted about 1904 it features a beautiful black finish and an impressive antique cathedral gong style. Made from wood and metal, this wind-up clock has an 8-day striking/repeating feature and is sure to catch the eye of any collector. The clock is in good working order and would make a fantastic addition to any home or office. It comes with the double barrel, key, and the note from previous owner. This is a neat clock and can be traced back to 1904 when it was given as a wedding gift. I cleaned the exterior of this clock four times to remove all the furniture polish, but there is still some remaining as you can see from the pictures. So possibly another cleaning or two would not be a bad idea.
