Description: Champleve Clock with Ormulu / Gilt Bronze Cherub on Pink Marble Base Made in France Mid-to-Late 19th Century Stunning champlevé mantle or desk clock held aloft by a seated cherub in ormolu atop a pink marble base. Generous amounts of champlevé on the front of the clock's globe, the back of the clock's globe, under the cherub itself, and under the stool on which the cherub rests. The clock has an enamel face painted with Arabic numerals and a small wreath of flowers.
