Description: Estate find...these were collected circa 1915 and were hand sewn into a topper for a quilt. The cigar flannels were part of a marketing ploy. Women were encouraged to make the flannels into quilts and other decor. This topper measures about 6'x5' and has 89 panels that were hand stitched. The top five panels measure about 12"x8" the others measure about 8"x5". There is a variety of topics including country flags, butterflies and Native American blanket art. One of the quality control tag from the factory was on the panel. It fell off and I will include it. There are other of the remnants on the felt from other tags, which is cool history. Please see photos for better descriptions. Most items are vintage and sold "as is". I do my best to describe any imperfections, and try to photograph flaws to ensure confidence in the decision process. I combine shipping when possible. Feel free to contact me with any questions. This "Little Piggy" (me) is always on a treasure hunt! I add new items every week. Please consider following us and check back often. I appreciate you taking the time to explore this listing. Have a great day!
