Description: BARBOUR…..A100 Bedale Thornproof WAXED COTTON JACKET -GREAT OLDER STYLE BARBOUR....ONE OF THE BEST BARBOURS EVER MADE!! -MADE IN ENGLAND -THORNPROOF WAXED COTTON -SAGE COLOR.... WITH DRESS GORDON LINING -TWO WAY METAL ZIPPER WITH STORM FLY FRONT This is a very nice condition vintage jacket that’s been worn several years ago and put away. Actually this is the Thornproof version (the best version in my opinion). The knits are solid. No other notable imperfections anywhere on this jacket other than some wear shown on the inner lining which is photoed. I would rate this vintage 35 year old jacket a 9 out of a 10. I’d just repair off the tiny things on the inner material or just forget it., as it doesn’t really do anything , nor is it really very visible unless looking at that spot on the inside of the jacket. The aforementioned is inconspicuous and of no difference in jacket feel at all. Please look at the photos that refer to these areas The waxed cotton Thornproof Outer shell is completely waxed. The Inner lining is in nice condition with minor wear as well. All Perfect zipper function as are all of the snaps. Can’t really be easily distinguished from a reasonably newer version, except vintage always rules!…and the collar is perfect. The vintage features really stand out. The brass hardware, minimalist look without the logo on the front pocket, the extra lining snaps running vertically alongside the zipper, and the long discontinued dress Gordon lining truly make this a Classic. No odors, except for a normal Barbour jacket type scent. The pockets are all perfect, as are the sleeves and cuffs. The inner rain sleeve is perfect, except for a minor tiny cut, which is truly almost not noticeable, as are all the edges throughout. Hard to find the vintage examples in this fine shape with that vintage “not messed with” look. Guaranteed satisfaction upon receipt!
