Description: British Military Pocket Watch Made in England - 1925 WORLDWIDE SHIPPING! This is a very distinctive steel open-face pocket watch made for the British Military in 1925. The watch has just come back from the watchmaker and is in great working condition, making it the perfect addition to a pocket watch collection! DIAL: The white enamel dial has large golden Arabic numerals, luminous skeleton hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six. The centre of the dial also contains a 24-hour subsidiary dial with red Arabic numerals, adding a touch of uniqueness to the watch. There are several marks of wear and tear on the dial, but this is not unusual for a watch of this age and prior purpose. MOVEMENT: The lever escapement movement has 15 jewels, a plain cock with polished steel micrometer regulator, compensation balance and blued steel overcoil hairspring (Calibre 1109). The movement is numbered 147092 and is currently functioning well, but due to its antique nature, we cannot guarantee precise accuracy. CASE: The watch lies in a smooth case with a monogram free cartouche. The inner side of the case is numbered 147092. Made in England – 1925 Diameter: 50mm Weight: 81g
