King St., Lancaster, PA.”, plain back with numbers in pencil along bottom, probably late 1800’s, minor wear to corners, small pin hole along bottom on the “s” at the end of the photographer’s name which goes through the matt, minor scuffs to image, lovely image of a young woman in a lacey white summer bodice with eyelet cuffs, her skirt which is also summer white has a bustle in back and shirred fabric in front, she has a flower corsage at her neck and wears a pearl earring, a cameo ring, and bracelets on either wrist, her hands hold a partially open fan with lacquered blades and white feathers that decorate a silk fan, curls frame her face and a braided chignon is at her neck, the studio background is plain with only a rug covered piece of furniture on which she leans, nice details.
