Description: This Native American Doll is breathtakingly beautiful. She is named Nituna and is numbered 1939 of 5000. She is made by Duck House Heirloom Dolls and was most likely made in the 1990's. She is new, and has her box but it was opened. She is missing her certificate, but is otherwise clean and unbroken. She looks like she was simply wrapped up in cellophane and stored. She doesn't appear to be even displayed. She has a gorgeous face - none of the dead look you can get in some dolls - truly beautiful and enchanting features. She has long dark brown straight hair and an elaborate feathered hat adorned with a bunch of white feathers and faux fur. These are attached to the end of two strands of hair with beautiful yellow beads. Her outfit is faux suede and all white including her boots, but is accented with fur and adorned with beads, beads and more beads. At the end of the numerous strands of sparkling yellow beads are little feather cut out accents. The entire effect is really outstanding. As a doll collector, I have a great appreciation for dolls that are well done and beautiful. Faces and little attentions to detail really matter, and this doll has all the bells and whistles. I would not have grabbed her had that not been the case. I took lots of pictures so you can see what I mean. She is an amazing find. Happy Shopping!
