Description: This is an early American, cast iron, carriage clock probably from the Terry Clock Co.. The case is in nice antique condition with some finish loss and one of the metal side panels is loose and rattles. The dial is nice and shows a good patina. The hands are nicely blued and the MOP appliqués are intact. I assume that they are authentic, but could be faux. The springs are holding power and when the clock is shaken, it ticks for a little bit then stops. When the hands are cycled the clock chimes on the bell. The clock appears to be complete, but is mostly untested and being sold for restoration. It’s a rare clock in nice condition and priced to sell so don’t miss it!
