You'd be forigven for immediately thinking Doxa when first viewing this piece, and there's a good reason for that. Ernest Borel and Doxa both fell under the ownership of Aubrey Frères in 1978, and it gladly shared parts and designs between the two companies within its portfolio. The EB Sub 200T looks very similar to the Doxa dial-side, but it uses a totally different case and is ostensibly a mid-size Doxa Sub 200T. It utilises a steel case measuring in at 37mm across the bezel, with sharp uni-directional bezel with tritium at 12. Case is thick and full, with very clear bevel lines and even lugs. It houses a matte black dial with 'Shark Tooth' markers in tritium with red surrounds. Markers are in lovely condition, and all very full. The broad hands are also tritium, and the hour and minute hand show minimal cracking under UV. The seconds hand does show some larger cracking, but tritium is still in place. Bracelet contains 15 links, with one extra included. Exhibits moderate stretch consistent with age. Service history is unknown. Winds smoothly, date changes as it should and currently keeping time at around -9 secs per day at mid 250+ degrees of amplitude.
