This kit is to convert your broken Torquemaster spring system to an industry standard torsion system. This kit includes all the parts you will need except for the tube also referred to as the shaft. Included are the following items. (1) Standard 15,000 cycle spring. This spring is calculated for this door. (1) Pair of residential end bearing plates. (1) Residential center bearing spring mount. (1) Pair of standard residential drums. (1) Pair of standard residential cables. (1) Hardware bag (Includes all hardware needed for conversion). Does not include tube shaft. We don't include the shaft since it would not be cost efficient to ship. However this shaft/tube can be picked up at your local metal supply store or local door company. The shaft needed will need to be 1' longer than the door is wide. Example a 8' wide door will need a 9' tube/shaft. Tube is standard 1" outside diameter steel tube, very thin wall. To determine which model of Wayne Dalton Door you have you can look for a yellow warning label on the inside of the garage door. This label will have the Product ID# on the door, which will help you identify what model of Wayne Dalton door you have. The easiest way is look at the inside of the door, if it a 9100 it will have a hard cardboard like backer. A 9600 will not have the cardboard backer but will be the same metal on the inside and outside. If you need assitance we will be glad to help.
