Carefully remove white backing from adhesive starting at a tile corner. If adhesive begins to pull up, switch to a different corner before continuing. Adhesive is semi-permanent. For temporary placement, such as dorm rooms or rental units, it is recommended that you remove backing to expose adhesive, and replace with 3M Command Strips to allow for easier removal.
