The bluing is worn thin in spots, and there are some very faint surface marks on the surface, as shown in the pictures.The threads are very good. The bore is shiny with barely visible lands and grooves. It comes with the front sight. It is in good, usable condition. It fits the Iver Johnson revolver model 55. NOTE: THE DIAMETER AT THE THREADS IS .4335", AND THE DIAMETER OF THE NON-THREADED AREA JUST FORWARD OF THE THREADS IS .4730". IVER JOHNSON REVOLVER BARRELS LOOK THE SAME FOR MANY MODELS, BUT ARE NOT!
