Description: Up for listing is a nice lot of 2 old Chinese bamboo tally money sticks circulated during the period between late Qing dynasty and Republic of China (pre-1949). Each token has the words "太平壹分" engraved on the front side, translated to be "Tai Ping One Cent". These two bamboo money sticks were issued by local government, to be used in place of copper cash coins during shortage of government-issued currency. Kindly, examine the photo scans for yourself, and feel free to ask me any questions. I ship within the United States only, via USPS domestic mail service, with a tracking number provided.
