Description: LARGE ANTIQUE HAND CARVED WOOD CRUCIFIX, FROM A GERMAN ORGIN CATHOLIC RELIGIOUS ORDER, NICELY DETAILED, IN GOOD CONDITION WITH SOME MINOR DAMAGE, A VERY NICE CARVED CRUCIFIX Note - Crucifix unmarked but similar ones from this Church collection were labeled Oberammergauer Germany, it has a round label on back I think with a faded green triangle Age - mid 20th Century Size - approximately - 43.5”H x 21.5”W x 6.5”D, size of Corpus from toe to top of head 19.5”H Condition - used condition, noting nail head missing from one foot and two small spikes missing from crown of thorns, expected wood separation at shoulder seams, arms and hands made so that they do not touch cross, wood knot on one side, both arms are made with wood seams at shoulder, one arm has separated at seam with crack on back at seam - see last picture, I will glue this arm before it ships Note - shipping is expensive due to size of box Please ask questions we want you to be happy, sorry I don’t have access to specific source information Please pay within 3 days, ships FedEx ground or other to a street address, Thanks
