Description: STK: #TOP SHELF Mauser 1896 Pistol 14"x8"x3" Wooden Presentation Display Box Case Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Presented is a wooden display box for a Mauser C96 (1896) Pistol with a 5.5" barrel. The exterior has light scattered chips, compressions and draglines. The corners show wear and the rear bottom edge shows wear. The hinges and latches are functional and smooth. Some of the finish has worn off and oxidized. Most of the wood finish still remains. The latches have locks but keys are NOT included.The inside top has a label that is marked "Mauser 1895 Pistol / 7.63 Mauser" and "A NON FIRING REPLICA of a HISTORIC FIREARM". It is securely fastened to the inside and may be glued. We are not sure, we did not want to try to remove it and take a chance on ripping it. There is no foam piece on the lid. The bottom has a a foam pad with some flocking. A lot of the flocking has worn off. There is a faint imprint of a Mauser C96 that was previously stored on it. There are no rips or tears and the foam is fully functional. This will be a great display case to store your favorite Mauser C96 pistol.
