Description: Perry Mercenary/English Longbowmen Regiment-28mm These are hand painted Perry Miniatures by Quality Miniatures. The 22 miniatures are very nicely painted and detailed. The flesh, armour, tunics, wood, and leather are painted starting with a darker color and applying lighter shades. Washes and tones are used to supplement these colors, The figure is then outlined for major detail with inks and a flat matte finish applied. There is then a gloss finish applied to the armour and other areas as needed for realism. There is an Standard Bearer and armoured knight commander.The figures are mounted on metal bases with an AK Dark Ground applied, shaded with a lighter color, and then a mixture of grasses and bushes applied. This blends the model bases into the metal movement base. This allows them to be positioned in column or line. Not a basecoat with washes only. A very striking unit on any gaming table.
