It features vibrant enamel designs on a round, domed lid jar elevated by 3 small silver feet. Goldstone is a type of glass used in the enameling process to create a sparkling effect, enhancing the box's visual appeal. These pieces, reflecting Japan's rich cultural heritage and technical expertise, were often made for export and are highly prized by collectors today. This piece has brilliant colors with a cobalt blue backround. Measures approx 4" tall x 3 1/2". Great condition with some normal wear associated with age.
