Description: Not For This Alone by Jan Tempest. Mills & Boon 1945 First edition. A highly collectible vintage romance produced at the end of the war, with lovely artwork to the dust wrapper. As you can see from the scans, this is in very nice used condition. The red cloth covered boards are in super condition. The wartime standard paper has resulted in the usual tanning to the end papers, but is otherwise clean, bright and tight. There is a little chipping to the wrapper, as you can see in the scans but this really is minimal. There is a small closed tear, but the white spine is unusually clean and bright. There is a neat ink inscription to the ffep 'To Ruby with Love From Nicola'. Presented in a removable plastic protective sleeve. A scarce wartime romance from this popular writer, and a very nice copy. 319All the books which I list are from our own private collection, which is extensive.
