Description: Original Oil Painting On Canvas Mediterranean Seascape. Signed & Nicely Framed An original oil painting on canvas, nicely framed. The painting itself is very well done and depicts a Mediterranean Seascape. The colors are crisp and bold, and there is no sign of age or wear to the painting. The image is warm and crisp and inviting. We have a lot of unanswered questions about this painting! In our opinion, it is too well done to be anything other than an original by an accomplished artist. However, we were unable to identify the artist name, even though the painting is signed. We also strongly believe that this is a contemporary artist, based on the condition of the painting, the canvas and the frame, all of which appear to be new. The frame is distressed, gold colored and, in our opinion of the style that is meant to appear old. There is an inner frame of cloth that has one small mark on the lower right hand side. We have not attempted to remove this, and it may come out. The painting itself is on stretched canvas, and when looking at the back of the painting, the wood and the edges of the canvas appear to be new, and not vintage.
