Description: This listing is for a used Razer Blade 14 Laptop (2021 model). I purchased this laptop new from Best Buy three years ago and have used it ever since. This laptop features an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX CPU, nVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GPU (100W), 16GB of DDR4-3200MHz RAM (soldered), 1TB NVME SSD (Samsung PM981a), and a 14" 144Hz IPS screen. Cosmetically, the laptop is in excellent condition. The main issue with this laptop is that the HDMI port does not work correctly. This is due to a small IC chip that was knocked off of the motherboard near the port (see pictures). HDMI output does function, however only when an external screen is plugged in the HDMI port before the laptop is turned on (aka "cold-plugging") - the laptop does not detect an external screen being plugged into/removed from the port while it is turned on (aka "hot-plugging"). TLDR: HDMI "hot-plugging" does not function correctly on this laptop. The two USB-C DisplayPort outputs work normally.. The keyboard RGB backlighting is also "off" in a couple places. Specifically, the blue colored light on the Windows key, left Tab key, and the Esc key do not work (see pictures). There is also a small line/imperfection/discoloration on the left side of the backlight of the IPS screen. It is difficult to see and mainly noticeable on a plain white background (see pictures). The battery has also been replaced. There is some slight wrinkling of the outer wrapper (see pictures), but the battery functions normally and shows very little wear. This laptop is being sold as-is. The 230W Razer AC Power Adapter is included. Laptop is also covered in a matte black 3M skin purchased from Amazon, which is easily removable. The machine will arrive completely wiped and restored to factory settings using the Razer System Image Restore tool. Please do not hesitate to ask questions about the item.
