The single pass-through of material under your watch head will reduce the bulk or thickness, compared to a traditional double-pass strap, but will still provide the intended protection this style of watch strap offers...if your springbar fails, the watch will still be attached to your wrist. And these single-pass straps are adjustable in overall length, so you can choose placement of the hardware (keepers) closer or further away from the watch head. Adjust to your liking, based on the size of your watch and wrist. The King style buckle is brushed 304L stainless steel, as are the strap keepers; one fixed and one floating. The tightly woven nylon is heat sealed on the strap end and inside the holes. Note: the holes are a natural stress point and the heat seal may dissipate with normal use, which could cause some fraying of the nylon. This is cosmetic only and should not affect functionality. This may or may not happen, depending on your overall wear habits. Most straps of this type haven't been heat sealed inside the holes, so you're starting with an extra step of intended protection from fraying. The straps are 1.2mm in thickness, where the material is not doubled. The length of the strap is adjustable. You could shorten it to where it is doubled up, almost like a double pass, to be 8" in total length (excluding the buckle) or lengthen it to the maximum of 12" which would put the fixed keeper right up against the buckle. The macro shots of the straps are enlarged in detail greatly, so you have a better sense of the color scheme and patterns. They will not appear that textured to the naked eye. Please use the wide shots for the overall feel of the colors.
