Description: This watch bracelet with sterling silver clasps and beads was designed by Richard Begay, a Native American jewelry artist. The watch runs and keeps good time, but will need a new battery installed. It is working as intended and was recently examined by a watch maker . 17mm diameter enamel dial is surrounded by a stainless steel case that was specially designed by Begay and ordered by Lucoral to match the silversmith’s artwork. Richard Begay was a Navajo Silversmith from Pinon Arizona. Richard passed away June 1, 2013. Watch is in unused NOS condition and has Sterling Silver beads and clasp along with the turquoise, sugalite, malachite, and lapis lazuli stones. Dates from the early 80s It is one of the best examples I've seen of this style. It makes is an eye catching accessory to wear with other Native American pieces or on its own. Bracelet is made in the Native American jewelry style and is a very eye attractive retro piece. It measures 7.5 inches in length. I would keep it except I have very small wrists so I cannot wear it safely or comfortably, but I love all the beautiful natural colored stones in the design. I would wear it myself if it fit me but it is too big for my wrist, It is beautiful piece. It is Unisex so can be worn by a man or a woman. It is best that new owner install a fresh battery - because it will then last the longest time.
