Description: Retro Romance! Post War 1940s / early 1950s vintage wedding dress is made of a combination of taffeta, floaty sheer tulle and sheer lace all in ivory white. The long sheer lace sleeved (with pointed cuffs) gown features a fitted bodice with an oval neckline, sheer lace and a fitted waist. The floorlength skirt is an A-line cut of two layers of sheer tulle overtop a taffeta lining. AND there is a removable over skirt with a detactable peplum. The overskirt is made of taffeta with a wide border of lace (which matches the lace on the bodice of the gown) and snaps on around the waist. The peplum is made of taffeta with wide horizontal pleats & a lace panel. The dress closes at the back with a metal zipper. MEASUREMENTS: No labels ... bust measures 36 inches (and therefore fits a size 32 bust or size 34 bust best), the waist measures 27 inches and the hips are free. The shoulders - measured from seam to seam - are 15 inches across. The dress is 57 inches in length. Please remember to leave room for you and that there is no stretch in the fabric.
