Takeshi Saji was born in 1948 in Takefu Japan in the heart an area for centuries devoted to the production of blades. For years now Takeshi Saji has been forging steel (especially Damascus) with which he makes various models of traditional Japanese knives. He’s a master blacksmith. The blade on this knife is hand forged, rolled steel with VG-10 edge at 61RC. The handle is made of rolled rattan and covered with Stingray skin. The sheath is made of Stingray skin. This knife has never been used or carried.
