Description: The Wizard of Oz A"You're In The Story"Book Up for auction is "The Wizard of Oz", by L. Frank Baum, with the text adapted by Catherine Solyom, and illustrated by Irina Georgeta Pusztai and Stephane Turgeon. This is A "You're In The Story Book". It is complete, and includes the following: a 14 page book with color pictorial paper covered boards and stiff cardboard pages; three masks (Scarecrow, Tin Man & Cowardly Lion); instructions on how to assemble the masks; and Emerald Glasses. All of these items are housed in a heavy cardboard carrying case that is covered with a shiny, reflective silver paper. Depicted on the case is the face of the Tin Man on the front, with protruding nose and cheek rivets, plus a hard plastic, red handle on the top, and a red clasp on the side. The book was published by Tormont Publications, Inc., of Montreal, Canada, in 1998. None of the items have ever been used, and are all in near mint, vintage condition, with no damage that I can detect, and hardly any soiling and wear. In fact, the masks and instruction booklet have not even been removed from their plastic packaging.
