Dahlen played with the Brooklyn Superbas (Dodgers) from 1910-1911 and managed them until 1913. This after seasons with Chicago Colts/Orphans (1891-1989), Brooklyn (1899-1903), New York Giants (1904-1907), and Boston Doves (1908-1909). Dahlen had a long career with one World Series win with the Giants and was 1904 National League RBI leader. As of this writing, he ranks 111 in career hits in MLB. While the condition is rough with the loss, it remains an uncommon cabinet card sized tobacco card of an important player.
