Description: Very Rare Carolyn Pollack Limited Ed Private Collection LG Multi Stone Enhancer Pendant NIB RETIRED (STERLING CHAIN NOT INCLUDED). This is a very rare pendant/enhancer that Carolyn Pollack designed for her Limited Private Collection using some of her favorite stones. The large enhancer is 3 inches long and 1 1/4 inches wide at the widest point. It consists of a large oval shaped Blue Chalcedony or Milky Aquamarine ( 1” L x 1/2”W) and 11 other stones. I researched this enhancer for two days trying to find a match but was unable to find one to identify the stones and the rarity of the piece. I usually keep paper on my jewelry purchases but I have been unable to find the paperwork on the enhancers I am listing that indicates the names of the stones and due to the closure of Ms. Pollack’s business, the information is not available. The faceted stones are London Blue Topaz (8). The 3 Cabachon Stones at the top are translucent with some inclusion. I am not sure what stone they are as I am not a geologist. All stones are prone set. All stones were sourced from America and enhancer pendant was made in USA. Please look at all photos closely. All of the stones are surrounded by polished Sterling Silver in different shapes.The large bale is 1/8” in diameter and can accommodate a large chain or woven leather necklace. Carolyn Pollack began her Southwest jewelry business in Albuquerque, New Mexico USA in 1975. She began her interest in design when she was a child helping her mother sew clothing. She loved the Native American stories she grew up hearing and decided to open a business for Southwest Native American jewelry to continue the legacy that she loved. She located her business in USA using Native Americans as craftsmen, manufacturing everything by hand using Native American designs and American products. She designed a stunning line of jewelry that has transcended not only the traditional western style to a timeless, refined, glamorous, and incredible fashion statement. She and her husband have retired and closed their manufacturing plant and now QVC is continuing the manufacturing but in another country. I am now retired and downsizing my home. This pendant enhancer has been stored in my climate controlled smoke free home since purchasing. All of my items for sale were purchased by me from reputable retailers and are authentic.
