Description: Vintage 10K Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society Pin. Alpha Lambda Delta was founded in 1924 at University of Illinois to recognize academic excellence. The pin is in the shape of a candle stick on a holder. The flame is a pink color ruby, along with four seed pearls as the candle. It measures at approximately 1/2" long by 3/8" wide, and weighs approximately 1.2 grams. The pin does not have a gold marked but acid tested and guaranteed to be 10K. I do have three of these pins all but one has a makers mark LGB (Lloyd Garfield Balfour) on the back. Each pin is overall in great condition, with some tarnish from being stored.
