Description: Vintage - possibly Antique - Quaker Oats metal export tin that dates to the 20s and 30s ( exports to France stopped during WWII) Can is empty but I haven’t attempted to open it so it’s in original condition This can has a “ 300” printed on the bottom of the front label which I can’t figure out what it means It has instructions in English, Chinese, Hebrew, Greek, French, Spanish and Portugese There is the expected amount of surface rust considering the age but the graphics are still very nice and colorful The Pictures show a small dent in the back This can is 5.25” tall and 3.5” across I found This can in an old dairy barn near Toledo Iowa in 1975 - How it got there is a question , but that area is not far from Cedar Rapids Ia. where Quaker Oats has a large production plant This is a rare piece of Americana
