Yes it's a lot of money, but this bottle and even the box have never seen light since 2016. Lots of millionaires in America can afford it. If you want it you want it! You will receive the exact bottle shown, we will be taking pictures for each one we sell. As you know if you are a Creed collector, their box and other quality control is terrible. SO we want to show the exact one you are receiving. We have had these in our possession, in IDEAL perfume storage since these bottles were imported from France in 2016. We stored away as many as we could when the 120ml was being discontinued! 2016 was the last year of the 120ml sized bottle. This batch is from 2016. Royal Oud has certainly been reformulated a few times since it's inception, hell no one is really even sure when it was invented for that matter or by who ha. It comes with a plastic cap and 2 authenticity cards AS SHOWN. Creed has created their oud fragrance as a response to the many requests they received from clients, but they have adapted the scent to the style of their house. Wood, leather, marble and gold—the elements of a royal Persian palace—inspired this luxurious mix of the Persian and Parisian. Royal Oud is a stylish and warm fougere fragrance with a beautiful kaleidoscope of woody, aromatic green and spicy nuances. The note of oud is an integral part of the composition, playing its role in balanced equilibrium with other notes.Top notes include lemon, pink berry and bergamot. The middle notes consist of cedar, galbanum and angelic root. We have had this exact perfume storage; going back to 2015! It is not good for them to be in a retail store environment with fluorescent light! Even sealed in their original boxes, even if the boxes are black most stores DO NOT store their perfume properly. At all. They just hope to sell it within a year. Disclaimers/ things to know about Creed before buying All the pictures are ours and you will receive exactly what you see, though not the one we pictured! Meaning, we have stock of these and we don't take a new picture each time one sells. Why the QR code is Sharpied over, messed up etc. This is from our suppliers, it comes that way. If in the pictures it is a Sharpie marker, if it is a sealed item the mark is just on the outside cellophane. If it is scraped off, then that would look the same with the cello off unfortunately. Creed is well known to be one of the worst for quality control, see batches next section. But it also pops up in things like the boxes, cello wrapping. The boxes are super cheap, cheapest you can get for a perfume that retails for $400. They often don't have 4 perfectly crisp corners, and the cello is often weakly sealed. Sometimes the sticker on the bottle is not perfectly straight or has a bubble in it (usually correctable). The batch number on the bottom of the bottle can be printed or laser, and in different places. This can all be referenced online, we don't buy from just 1 supplier but a few in France it is quality control all from Creed itself. Just be aware if you are newer to Creed! BATCHES We do not offer batch advice- we don't know the differences in batches except some generalities. It's not something we would devote many hours each week to, one fragrance. Batch numbers start with the year, like 19, 20, 21 etc. Then a letter, in chronological order A before B before C etc. So A,B,C batches are toward the beginning of the year, X,Y,Z the end. Then ending in two numbers, typically 01, 11, 21, but sometimes others. In general, Creed is shipped to market too fast- so it isn't as strong as it could be. Especially common with Aventus but with most Creed just let it breathe a bit…. Once the bottle has been sprayed it tends to smell stronger a week or two after!
