Description: This is a MCM Japan figurine by Lefton....or Ucagco. I have seen both branded stickers on this same figurine mold. I am not sure if the companies sold/shared the mold, as some companies used to do back in the day. It is stamped NC on the bottom, which is the Japanese ceramics company who made figurines for companies and imported them to the USA. I am not sure if there was supposed to be an umbrella that went with this figurine and fit into the vase part? These figurines are scarce and it is hard to find a source that would show what went into the vase part...there were several different poses in this figurine. But you can tuck anything you want into the vase part...a few tiny flowers or maybe even a birthday candle. She stands 5 1/4 inches tall and 3 inches across at the widest point. An adorable long-lashed and rosy cheeked cherubic blonde girl. She is holding a bouquet of pink roses in one hand and is holding a small bud "vase" in the other. Her dress is grey and white striped with a black bodice and a back hat. Gold trimming throughout. And her little shoe peeking out from under her dress is painted gold. Figurine is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks. No fleabites. No crazing. No loss of paint to her adorable facial features or hair. Gold trimming has no paint loss or fading. The roses are intact and do not have fleabites. Minimal paint loss on the body of the dress. Minimal paint loss on the very point of the gold shoe.
