Description: Vtg antique Tlaquepaque style old Mexico California pottery tile donkey palm AF. Evocative piece in the Tlaquepaque style. Motif features a donkey carrying various goods by a palm tree and colorful cacti. In the light the tile has a very faint iridescence. Good condition. Light wear. Obvious wear to the face of the tile (especially the bottom corner, where a section of the blue border has chipped). Some nicks along the rim. Wraparound fracture visible on face and back. Some glaze dulling and other wear as pictured. Imperfections to pottery on the back (some recesses in the clay). Please refer to photos for additional condition details. Just over 5 1/2” square.
