Description: For sale is a WW2 Distinguished Flying Cross medal group to Pilot Officer Ronald Roxburgh Fabel Royal Airforce Volunteer Reserve No.120 squadron. Fabel was awarded his DFC for his involvement in the bombing of an enemy tanker and submarine in the Bay of Biscay, January 1942. (See gazette extract) The group comprises of mounted full size medals along with miniatures and associated ribbons and badges. Also a note related to the recipients services to the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh during their 1954 Royal visit to Australia Good condition overall. Some of the ribbons on the full size medals look to have been replaced. Some tarnish to DFC
