Description: WWII RCC MK2 USN KA-BAR Fighting Knife by Robeson with a NORD 6581 Navy Scabbard by B & M Co.Handle has been painted with some amazing paint product because there isn't any corrosion to the handle. I assume this was done to prevent corrosion from salt water. I know that this WWII vet was stationed at one time in the Indian Ocean at Diego Garcia during his career. Knife is sharp to touch. Has original owner R. Lau's name stamped on Scabbard, but I don't see his name stamped on the knife. I don't feel any movement in the knife's hilt. Snap works. This knife has always been in the family hands of R. Lau. Look at all the pictures to determine condition. If any questions, just message me. I will try to answer to the best of my knowledge.
